Carbon Footprint

Carbon Footprint

Definition

As for as measure of impact human activities have an environment in terms of carbon dioxide. In response to carbon footprints are carbon offsets , or the mitigation of carbon emissions through the development of alternative projects such as solar or wind energy or reforestation. . I have done the food print test and I got 2.25 planets. This mark means that my bad behavior needs two and a half planets.

What is Carbon Footprint? In the last couple of years the term "carbon footprint" has become one of the more fashionable terms used by environmental campaigners. It's the idea that people can judge their impact on the environment by measuring the amount of carbon dioxide their lifestyle gives off.If you fly frequently or drive to work every day - both activities burning a lot of fossil fuels - the chances are your carbon footprint will be much larger. Boiling all drinking water will also increase your "footprint" because of the extra energy consumptionAnd buying bottled water has an even bigger impact when the production of the plastic bottles and all those trips to the shops are taken into account. We all contribute to global warming every day. The carbon dioxide you produce by leaving the lights on adds up quickly. You may be surprised by how much Co2 you are emitting each year. We can calculate our personal impact and learn what action one can take to reduce or even eliminate your emissions of carbon dioxide through carbon calculatorYour carbon footprint is a representation of the effect you, or your organization, have on the climate in terms of the total amount of greenhouse gases you produce. Many of your actions generate carbon emissions, which contribute to accelerate global warming and climate change. By measuring your carbon footprint through tools as the Carbon Calculator, you can get a better sense of what your individual impact is and which parts of your lifestyle deserve the greatest attention. Armed with such information you can more readily take effective action to shrink your carbon footprint, thereby minimizing your personal impact on the climate.

We have eliminated the energy in our work premises and accommodation. On time immediate shutdown after use of the electronics equipment like computer, printer and other electronic accessories. Also less consumption of electrical power we have to use fluorescent light. This lights use less energy and we will prevent the emissions of carbon dioxide. Equipment or accessories should be use in our daily routine premises. We can use bicycles more often because they don’t burn a single fossil fuel carbon atom.
